Butterfly Wing Color Matching

This is a wonderful interactive color recognition and matching activity which encourages children to learn basic colors whilst they play.

The object of this activity is to find each butterfly’s missing wing by selecting a wing that is the same color so that the butterfly’s wings match.

This activity promotes lots of discussion and vocabulary development investigating the concepts of same and different, match and don’t match and the use of color words red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black and white.
