Apple Colour Sorting

This set allows children to sort the apples by color.

First,  discuss the color of the apples—red, green and yellow.

Then label the basket either with a color word card or with a colored apple.

The children then pick the apples from the tree and sort them by matching them to the color of the apple on the basket or by the color word.

This set encourages color identification, color sorting and counting and
color word recognition.
